Ideas for your presentation:

• Interview a member of the indigenous community you have chosen. Ask lots of questions! With consent you can record your interview or jot down your conversation.

• Learn 5-10 words from their indigenous language. For example, Learn Mi'kmaq Online is a great resource and there are many apps to learn indigenous languages!

• Present about important symbols. For example, visit the Benoit First Nation website to understand the Grand Council Flag of the Mi'kmaq Nation.

• Share video of songs or cultural traditions and explain what you have learned.
